EXECUTIVE SUMMARY 

The gaming industry does have representation of games that handle complex themes of mental well-being and anxiety, but there aren’t all that many. SPIRAL was born out of a desire to express the overwhelming nature of a task list that gets longer and longer, while you’re still trying to balance your work and social life. As students, we felt very qualified to tell a story that really represents our experiences, told through the lens of a struggling HR assistant that so desperately wants to prove herself. Through a mix of compelling visuals, complex character relationships, and an immersive office setting that can feel nearly inescapable, Holy Mackerel Studios brings SPIRAL to life.
